I have worked in the NHS as a Registered General Nurse before commencing my counselling training in 1992. I gained counselling experience through working in various NHS settings. I have set up, managed and maintained a general counselling service at a NHS General Practice Centre. From 1996 to 1998, I organised, managed and maintained a counselling service for the Hand Unit and the Pain Clinic at a NHS Hospital. I started my private practice in 1997.

I have gained a broad range of counselling experience working with adults, couples and small groups. I am familiar with brief and long term counselling. Furthermore, I have counselled clients with many different issues, concerns and problems, including:

    I offer supervision to counsellors and psychotherapists

    I see each client, couple or group as unique, therefore the therapeutic counselling approach depends on the needs, preferences, personality and goals of each client.
